ADVANCE ENGLISH I AFTER CHHATH
October 31, 2022
Today was the first day of class after Tihar and Chhath ;one of the biggest holidays for Hindus. As usual, Dr. Duwadi arrived on time for class, and we immediately got to talking about how Chhath had recently become more well-known. Sir urged us to write about it, so we followed suit. The interesting thing is that several of our pals were late to class, and Dr. Duwadi gave them an assignment on "Why should latecomers be permitted in class?"
I was instructed to write about why Chhath is popular nowadays. I started to write about it. Nepal, like the United States, is a secular country, which means it is religiously neutral, and it is becoming more and more accessible for everyone. Migration is a regular occurrence in the 21st century. People who celebrate Chhath have been touched by the fact that when people travel, they also carry their culture and language with them. Due to their awareness of the environment, individuals in this generation do their best to improve it. Chhath is the festival during which we worship the sun. The sun is an environmental factor we cannot live without. In the modern world, those who care about the environment have started to celebrate Chhath.
However, as I believe that Chhath is a festival of gratitude to the sun, i.e., the environment, people should also be concerned about keeping the environment clean while celebrating Chhath. When decorations, food, and flowers are thrown into bodies of water, pollution results. People ought to be worried about it.

Following team creation, he assigned a job to each group. Our group was given the assignment to find all the characters' names in the chapter. Following group presentations, Sir gave us a quick overview of what the chapter really covered. The backdrop for the narrative is a little American community. Every year, there is a tradition of holding a lottery in which the winner is selected among the villages. In contrast to previous lotteries, the lottery winner is sacrificed by the villagers to ensure a bountiful harvest of their crops. Mr. Summers, the village's oldest man, announces a lottery in which...
